Sable Homes to feature hand-crafted details in Grand Rapids Spring Parade of Homes

Sable Homes will feature a new home in the 2017 Grand Rapids Spring Parade of Homes that is built with a complete finished basement and a sunroom that overlooks the wooded yard. This top-of-the-line home in Rockford is nestled on nearly 3 acres on a beautiful cul-de-sac.

The 5-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom Charlotte walk-out home features over 3,500 square feet of living space, including a four-season room that overlooks the surrounding nature all year long. Remarkable amenities include, custom shelving in the pair of his-and-hers walk-in closets, hand-crafted lockers, hardwood floors, granite countertops, a three-stall garage and a finished lower level with a spacious family room, wet-bar, fifth bedroom and a full bathroom. Special attention to detail is found in the pantry and kitchen-tiled back splash, as well as the separate tiled bath and shower in the master suite.

Sable Homes built this Parade home with health-conscious technology, including toxin-free flooring glues and WhisperGreen fans for clean air exchange and ventilation.

Sable Homes also uses eco-friendly Superior Walls Xi Foundation System insulation in basements, which increases a home’s energy rating. Sable’s entry into the Parade of Homes earned a Home Energy Rating System (HERS) 5+ star rating. This is the highest achievable rating on the HERS system and is only awarded to homes that are 30 percent more energy efficient than code.

The 2017 Grand Rapids Parade of Homes will run from May 26 to June 10. The Sable Homes entry will be open for viewing  5-9 p.m. Wednesdays and 1-9 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Memorial Day. Sable Homes will showcase its house in following neighborhood:
