Sable Homes President John Bitely recently talked with Chuck LaTour at WOOD Radio about what Grand Rapids-area home buyers can expect in the new year. Trulia ranked Grand Rapids as the fourth top market to watch in 2017. It was the only market in the Midwest to make Trulia’s Top 10 list.

“We continue to have a very wonderful place to live here in West Michigan, specifically in the Grand Rapids market,” Bitely told WOOD Radio. “We have a lot of great school districts and jobs for people. And it’s just a desirable place to live and raise a family.”

In 2016, Sable Homes had another record year of home construction with 120 homes. Bitely anticipates new home sales for the company will continue to trend upward throughout 2017 as well.

“We’re seeing a lot more people come in and order a home and have it built for them,” Bitely said.
