Alabama media seeks home purchasing expertise from Sable Homes’ Karin Kay

Trussville Tribune outside Birmingham, Alabama, sought Rockford, Michigan-based Sable Homes Sales Manager Karin Kay for her real estate expertise when buying a new home in 2021.

In addition to Kay, the Jan. 5 story featured national housing industry experts from Atlanta, Georgia; Montgomery, Alabama; and Tampa, Florida, who shared these five steps for home buyers looking to purchase a new home in the new year:

• Make a list
• Do research
• Set aside savings
• Talk to a sales consultant
• Make a decision

Kay offered advice when it comes to the first step: making a list.

“Some people love outside spaces more than the home’s interior. Others don’t want anything to do with the outdoors,” Kay said during her interview with Trussville Tribune.

She also provided insight about home design research and how it may affect a home buyer’s budget. Home design websites and magazines typically showcase “the best of the best” and those rooms can prove costly to copy, Kay told the Trussville Tribune.
